June 28, 2024 – Submission of the building permit application – The Documentation for the Building Permit (DSP) was completed, and on the eve of the feast of the FSSP patron, St. Peter, we submitted, through our designer Ing. Tomáš Fuit, a request to the Municipal Office of České Budějovice for the so-called combined permit (zoning and building proceedings). For our designer, this also meant obtaining twelve approvals from various authorities (utilities, nature protection, heritage preservation, etc.).
February 22, 2025 – Building permit takes legal effect – On the Feast of the Chair of St. Peter, celebrated within the FSSP as a first-class feast, the building office applied the final stamp: the building permit officially took legal effect. Coincidence or a play of Divine Providence? All objections had been resolved, and construction could begin. We finally received the long-awaited label: “Construction Approved.” It will still be necessary, however, to complete the documentation for execution and the budget in order to apply for a grant.
