In 1699 a Pilgrims’ House was built by the Jesuits in Římov. After the suppression of the Jesuit order in 1773, the building continued to serve as a pilgrims’ inn and from 1830 it was used as a rectory, school, and rental house, gradually falling into disrepair. In 2022 this severely dilapidated historic building steeped in history was purchased by the Priestly Fraternity of St. Peter.
